Counseling for Teens, parents and families

Helping teens and parents move from coping to thriving.

Kaitlyn Simpson, LCSW

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn Simpson. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and psychotherapist.

I work with parents who have full lives and are trying to manage the challenges of parenting along with “life.” We all know that life does not stop while we raise children for 20 or 30 years.

In addition to being a therapist, I have spent years learning how to heal body and mind using natural methods like nutrition, nature and movement. I have a special interest in supporting people who are trying to heal from chronic illness, cancer treatment and even just years of stress. I love the mountains and nature and I make an amazing kale salad, but I am not perfect (and neither should you be!). Curling up on the couch has its value.

My approach is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances. I am trained in traditional psychotherapeutic modalities, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping). I continue to study trauma and energy and the mind body connection.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I provide my clients with a safe space where they can Learn to manage current stressors, resolve past traumas, improve communication, work on important relationships, address depression and anxiety and manage and heal from the impact of health challenges.
